Dr. Felix Feng is an expert in translational genomics and pre-clinical therapeutics for prostate cancer and has co-authored over 200 journal articles. Dr. Feng received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan. Prior to moving to the University of California, San Francisco in 2016, Dr. Feng was a faculty member of Radiation Oncology, Director of the Division of Translational Genomics, and Associate Chair for Laboratory Research at the University of Michigan.

Lisa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire and completed her MS and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. She joined the Feng Lab in 2018 as a postdoctoral scholar and is now a professional researcher in the lab. Her work focuses on understanding mechanisms of MHC regulation in prostate cancer as well as identifying synthetic lethal targets in ATM-deficient prostate cancer.

Raunak is a postdoctoral fellow in computational biology. His main interest lies in understanding cancer progression and treatment resistance through the development and application of computational genomics approaches. His research is geared towards developing machine learning (ML/AI) methods to exploit liquid biopsies, such as circulating cell-free DNA from blood plasma, for studying genomics and epigenomics driving treatment resistance in metastatic prostate cancer.

Haolong is a Senior Scientist/ Associate Professional Researcher at the University of California at San Francisco, focused on investigating the molecular mechanisms driving resistance to androgen-directed therapies for prostate cancer, as well as developing therapeutic approaches for patients with advanced prostate cancer.

Adam manages the Tissue Core for the BIPCR and oversees the lab operations for the metastatic prostate cancer biopsy program and associated NGS laboratory. He has a BS from Haverford College in chemistry and biophysics and over 15yrs experience in lab management and NGS lab operations with a specific focus on optimizing CT-guided bone biopsies for multi-omics investigation of metastatic prostate cancer. Adam joined UCSF's HDFCCC in 2010, where he leveraged experience with mCRPC bone metastasis and gene expression assays at Duke University to build the infrastructure and NGS pipelines behind the Stand Up to Cancer West Coast Dream Team program at UCSF. The biobank and constantly growing NGS infrastructure continues to support new multi-year, multi-institutional clinical programs in metastatic prostate cancer through the Feng laboratory, the UCSF HDFCCC, and the BIPCR.

Noah is a physician-scientist with a research background in drug development. He sees patients with advanced genitourinary malignancies in clinic, while working in the Feng lab to identify new therapeutic targets in prostate cancer. Emma was born and raised in West Virginia. She earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from West Virginia University, followed by a post-baccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. She earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Duke University prior to joining the Feng lab in 2023. Her research interests include exploiting cancer cell-intrinsic molecular mechanisms for clinical therapeutic improvements.

Dr. Gabriel Eades is a postdoctoral researcher in the Feng laboratory. He completed his undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his doctoral research training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. His research aims to develop and apply novel tools and technologies to map the genetic interactions driving drug resistance in mCRPC and to apply functional genomics tools to identify druggable dependencies. In addition, he is working to address a major challenge facing researchers, that of the limited number of available prostate cancer models.  He is aiming to establish the next generation of prostate cancer research models working towards providing prognostic patient avatars.

Josephine is a postdoctoral scholar in the Feng lab with a strong interest in using genomic approaches to identify durable drug targets for advanced prostate cancer. She holds a BPharm from the University of Ghana, an MSc from Mie University in Japan and a jointly awarded PhD from The University of Adelaide in Australia and Nagoya University in Japan. Josephine brings on board her expertise in androgen receptor biology and drug resistance.

Jun is an associate specialist in Feng lab at UCSF. Jun earned his MD degree from Tianjin Medical University. Jun worked as a pathologist in the neuro-pathology department at Tianjin Medical University General Hospital. In pursuit of this passion, Jun joined UCSF as a postdoctoral fellow under the guidance of Dr. Farid Chehab. In 2020, Jun joined Dr. Felix Feng's lab. Jun is motivated to use his medical knowledge and research expertise to advance life-saving missions.
